Kieran’s fourth full show for Darwin Symphony Orchestra featured 20 songs, reworking a decade of pop, rock and electronic music for an orchestral concert setting.

KIERAN HURLEY / THE MUSICIAN BEHIND CKMABOUT KIERAN HURLEY
An active career across concert performance, musical theatre, arranging and education.
Kieran Hurley is an arranger, trombonist and educator whose work spans classical, jazz, rock and funk. CKM Productions brings his performing groups and live productions together under one name.
As Director of Music at Guildford Grammar School, he writes for and conducts a wide range of ensembles. His professional arranging collaborations include orchestras, bands and education organisations across Australia.
His performance credits include work with Frankie Valli, Josh Groban, Maynard Ferguson and James Morrison, and musical theatre productions including Les Misérables, A Chorus Line and The Boy from Oz.
Kieran holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance and a Graduate Diploma in Education. He is Vice President of the Music Arrangers Guild of Australia, having joined the Guild in 2015.
